A restaurant we chose at random during our stroll through Rennes. A very warm welcome, good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and good value for money. Moreover, an ideal location in the very heart of Rennes.

No complaints whatsoever; the pizzas are excellent, varied, original, and generous. The desserts are very good. The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is pleasant, with a cozy little terrace overlooking the wood-fired oven. Prices are very reasonable. We tried it, we went back, and we'll definitely go back.

“A real hidden Gem in the centre of Rennes” Me and my wife recently visited Rennes for a weekend away. This place is an absolute MUST for everyone visiting the city. The service was warm friendly and complemented the amazing food. We visited on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was buzzing with locals which we find is always a sign. We had the Charcuterie board to start with a side of hand cooked chips. Great selection of cold meats and the Portion size was perfect for sharing. For our main we had freshly made pizza from the stone baked oven (vegetarian & honeymoon). Pizzas were light, fresh and tasted amazing. We are massive foodies and we would rate this as one of the best pizzas we have ever tried. Dessert was a home run! We went for profiteroles and tiramisu. Both were delicious. Compared to other local restaurants we tried this place was a real standout. Amazing food at affordable prices.

We had dinner at La Janata with a group and sat at a table right in front of the restaurant. We started with a charcuterie board and fresh bread, which was delicious. Then I had the Capri pizza, which was fantastic—stone-baked and absolutely divine. The owner was incredibly friendly, and the service was impeccable all evening. We finished with tiramisu, which was definitely my favorite. Everything is homemade, and you can taste it in every bite. We'll definitely be back!

My best pizza experience ever. The "Honey Moon" made to order pizza was simply sensational.

The restaurant is nice and the customer service is good, but the pizza is inedible, to be honest. I couldn't finish it from the very beginning. We saw them defrosting the pizza dough with steam from the coffee machine, the bottles were dirty with limescale, the drink was lumpy, and it was a bit expensive for what it was.

My son was sick all night after ordering a children's meal of pizza, shoulder of lamb, cheese, and ice cream. The restaurant was tasteless and bland.

The staff is friendly and attentive, the place is cozy, the food is delicious and everything is delivered pretty quickly, and the prices are reasonable.

It's very fast, the waitress is very nice and very fast, the food is very good, what more could you ask for?

For my first time in Rennes, I chose this small restaurant where the welcome is truly warm and the food excellent. Don't hesitate to try the mussels à la Janata. Thank you.
